The Perham baseball team captured the Heart O’ Lakes Conference title with a 12-0 record.  The Yellowjackets boasted the Conference MVP in Chas Melvin and the Most Outstanding Pitcher in Finn Diggins.  Perham finished as Section 8AA runners-up to Wadena-Deer Creek.

Pelican Rapids opened their baseball season with a split at a frigid Hawley diamond on Tuesday, winning the first game 9-6 before losing the nightcap 14-5 in 5 innings due to darkness.
