On Sunday afternoon the Otters hosted Northern Lakes in a noon game. The Otters proved to be an impatient bunch with Johnson(A: Stenstrom) scoring the first goal only 7 seconds into the game besting the previous day’s 22 second marker. (Note: This team will view the 7 seconds as a Challenge for the rest of the season, so arrive early if you are coming out to watch.) The Otters added another goal from Pitman(A: Stenstrom) late in the period for a 2-0 lead after one. Once again, Swanson maintained the Otter’s momentum with a couple of big saves amongst his 7 for the period. They don’t show up as often in the scoring summary, but a callout to: McGuiness, Lindgren, Bring, Skye Norgren, Zierden and Buckmeier who all contributed with solid defense over the weekend. The PWA’s next action will be hosting Detroit Lakes on Saturday (2:30PM) and traveling to play Fargo Angels on Sunday before hosting their Home Tournament on 12/16-12/17.
