The Fergus Falls Hurricanes won the Alexandria Tournament championship on Sunday afternoon with a 14-1 five-inning victory over the Long Prairie Predators at Knute Nelson Memorial Field in Alexandria.

The 'Canes scored three runs in the first inning.  Tosten Mann and Alex Hensch led off with singles and stole second and third.  A fly ball off the bat of Dan Revering was misplayed for a three-base error with Mann and Hensch scoring.  A single by Darin Stanislawski then brought home Revering.

Fergus Falls made it 7-0 with a four-run third inning.  Stanislawski was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning and moved to second on a single by Jake Anderson.  A Jack Hiedeman double scored Stanislawski.  After a strikeout, Austin Stanislawski walked to load the bases and Tosten Mann singled to knock in two runs.  Revering then delivered a run scoring single, plating Austin Stanislawski.  The Hurricanes exploded for seven runs after two outs were recorded in the bottom of the fourth.  Jack Hiedeman singled and walks to Alex Hexum and Austin Stanislawski loaded the bases.  Mann singled in two runs and Alex Hensch walked to reload the bases.  A single by Revering scored two more runs.  Pete Gaustad then reached on an error, allowing Hensch to score.  Darin Stanislawski followed with a single, scoring Revering and Gaustad.

Revering (4IP, 2K, 0BB, 1H, 0R) was the winning pitcher.  Mann (3-4, 2R, 4RBI), Hensch (2-3, 2R), Revering (2-4, 2R, 4RBI), Darin Stanislawski (3-3, R, 3RBI) and Jack Hiedeman (3-3, 2B, R, RBI) led the Hurricanes 14-hit attack.
